As an aside it’s interesting that while Mr. Gilbert is busy discussing the differences between Roman Catholic, Orthodox, and Protestant beliefs he summarizes protestant belief in a way that only someone partial to “Perseverance of the Saints” would have – “…so it is possible for Protestants to call themselves Christian and be baptized—but to have never trusted Jesus as their Lord and therefore be Christian in name alone.” Maybe he should have said “but don’t trust Jesus as their Lord and are therefore Christian in name alone.”
